Spring Semester Reminder
With the Spring semester starting up for colleges across the country, I thought I would take this opportunity to remind everyone gearing up for school that BookJingle is great for students. Why? Because, unlike university bookstores who seldom offer fair prices in exchange for textbooks, BookJingle gives you the most for your books. When I was in college, I can’t count the number of times I heard complaints about someone buying a book for $150, using it for one semester, and then only getting pennies back at the university bookstore. A lot of this is because new editions of textbooks come out constantly, yearly in some cases. Professors often choose to use the newest, so bookstores no longer want to buy the previous editions. Not the case with BookJingle!
BookJingle is always buying textbooks, even older editions that your university bookstore might refuse to buy. Plus, you don’t even have to leave your house to use BookJingle. You can sell your used textbooks for cash from the comfort of your couch. Ship the books for free using BookJingle’s Media Mail shipping label, and you’re good to go!
So, when this semester is over, skip that trip to the bookstore and head to BookJingle.com to get the most money for your used textbooks!

2013 New Year’s Resolutions
The end of 2012 is in a few short days. One way many people celebrate the ending of one year, and the beginning of another is to make a New Year’s resolution. It usually involves bettering yourself in some way: losing weight, eating better, reading more, spending less money, being more organized. . . You get the point.
This is where BookJingle comes in. You can make many resolutions that BookJingle can be a part of. Want to be more organized? Sell books that clutter up your home to BookJingle. Want to be more fiscally conscious? Sell your used textbooks to BookJingle. Want to make a little extra money? Become a Book Scout!
With BookJingle, you can realize your New Year’s resolutions in 2013, and not fall off the wagon in February like most people.
Book Scout Information
Did you know that you can make money by selling books to BookJingle, but also by being a Book Scout. What’s a Book Scout, you ask? Good question! Here’s what you need to know.
Being a Book Scout is a unique opportunity offered by BookJingle for those of you interested in selling more books and making more money. This program gives you the tools to find more books and make more money! Using BookJingle’s proprietary PDA and bar code scanner (or Jingle Scout), you can be your own boss, and work your own hours. Some benefits of being a Book Scout are:
- Speed. Results are displayed in under a second. Plus, top Book Scouts may be eligible to receive a bar code scanner attachment. This turns your PDA into a book finding machine. You don’t have to type in a single ISBN. The scanner allows you to evaluate 15-30 books per minute.
- Knowledge. Jingle Scout devices contain information on millions of books. Plus, you will receive a copy of BookJingle’s Guide to Finding Used Books.
- Portability. The PDA can be taken anywhere. You are not limited by cell phone service or wifi as the data is all located on the PDA.
This opportunity is great for stay at home moms, retirees, students, those interested in working from home, and (of course) book lovers. If you are interested or would like more information on BookJingle’s Book Scout program, contact BookJingle.

Black Friday 2012
Once again, it’s Black Friday. The day people get up at 3:00 AM to get a jump start on holiday shopping. Some stores are opening even earlier this year (many last night at 8 or 9:00 PM) to try and get more business. That seems all well and good
, but I have a better idea.
Why not just stay home this Black Friday, eat leftovers, and make some money from the comfort of your own couch? Just sell your used books to BookJingle.com, and you can be making money while others are waiting in the cold to get their hands on a 50″ television. While they’re freezing, you can relax knowing you get free shipping, and a super fast payment.
So, have another turkey sandwich, forget about battling the crowds at Target, and sell your books now!

A Couple of Couplets
This week, I am ending the series of BookJingle poetry with a couple of couplets (hilarious, right?) Just to review, I have done haiku
, limerick, and the previous author did an acrostic. Who knows what next week will bring, but here are my charming couplets!
The holidays are creeping closer by day,
Sell your used books to BookJingle for holiday pay.
Your used books can be of great use,
Sell them to BookJingle for cash, I deduce.
Sell your used books and get free shipping,
Get your check fast and you’ll just be skipping.
I know I’m no poetry wiz, but it’s been fun to explore other ways to tell how great it is to sell your books to BookJingle. And with the holiday season approaching, it really is a great way to get a little extra cash in your wallet for whatever reason. Selling your books to BookJingle is also a great way to clear out a little bit of clutter, and make way for new things or visiting relatives! So, what are you waiting for? Get extra cash now, and finish your shopping before the stores get crowded and insufferable!
A Little Limerick (or Two)
While writing the haiku for last week’s post, it made me wonder what other kind of poems I could write about BookJingle. Limericks are fun, easy, and quick to write — so I tried my hand at a couple of those. Here are the two I am most proud of
:
There is a great site you should know
that buys all the books you forgo.
BookJingle’s the name,
and buying used books is their aim.
Now go sell your used books and get dough.
BookJingle pays cash for your tomes,
not your shoes, your gold chains, or your gnomes.
They’ll buy your used books,
about cats, art, or brooks.
Perhaps even those starring Holmes.
What do you think? They’re not award winning, but informative, fun, and silly was what I was going for. I think I nailed it! Maybe next week I’ll think of some other fun ways to write about BookJingle. We’ll see!
